The thing I love about The Mandalorian is how quickly Din went from “I’m not emotionally involved” to “this is my son and I will do ANYTHING for him”.
We didn’t have that aggravating, drawn out middle section where he pretends not to care and is dragged kicking and screaming into loving this kid ‘cause he’s a macho lone wolf, no. The second he makes the decision to take the child he is ALL IN. I love it.
